So, what's new?

Well, the past two weeks have been interesting. Above you will see the picture of our new car. A new car you say! But, why? Well, the transmission on Matt's truck died dead. We decided it was a better use of our money to put a down-payment on a car than spend several thousand on repairing the truck. So, that is the short version of the story. It is nice to have a new car that we aren't worried is going to break down any minute. I'm still having a heart attack about the whole thing, but I'm getting better.
Below you see Matt and Rachel playing Rock Band. They love it, and it makes Rachel's day if you play with her. She also can't believe it when we play without her.

Hello

I just haven't posted in a while so I thought I would put a couple of Rachel pictures on. The only big news update I can think of would be about our fridge. It's not working right. We are going to get it repaired. Weeeeee.

More Park Fun

Rachel was having a great time at the park. So I thought I would share 'cause some of the pictures are funny (to me at least!)

Playing with Jane

Jane came over to play with Rachel today. They had a blast. I think that Rachel got the see-saw going a bit fast for Jane though. She was scared. Other wise they had lots of fun playing together.

Easter Weekend

Happy Easter! We have had a busy weekend here. We started the weekend with the traditional dying of Easter eggs.
I have been saving my pennies for a long time and I finally was able to buy Rachel a swing set, which she LOVES. I am excited for her to be able to go and play in the yard and have something exciting to do

Yesterday, we were going to go with Grandma Romeril, Owen and Bentley to the city's Easter egg hunt. Then it started to rain. So Mom and I set up an Easter egg hunt for the kids in her basement. They had a blast. I think that we might make this a new tradition!Last but not least, I finished Rachel's Easter dress for church.
